Celebrating life in New Orleans!
Something magical happened, so I decided to write about it.
I met this really amazing group of traveling black women on Instagram. During our consultation, I found out they had all met in college in North Carolina, and they were flying from all around to visit New Orleans and celebrate 20 years of sisterhood. Of course, it was only right to book one of the best photographers in Southern Mississippi & Louisiana. We met in the French Quarters in NOLA and walked the streets and eventually the Riverwalk. Let me tell you…the ladies did not come to play, colors & confidence was on point! There were so many people that stopped us and wanted to know what we were up to lol. They had a goal of taking it back to their days on the yard & I must say we understood the assignment — from lighting smoke bombs on the streets and hoping the police wouldn’t arrest us to jumping for joy on the edge of the river to getting rained on in the courtyard of the hotel. This session was so much fun & I’m so thankful to have captured the essence of this beautiful bond they have.
